The Refuge Bay Radio was developed to be utilized in areas allocated as places of refuge within the mine. The Refuge Bay Radio allows communication on a pre-set frequency into the Leaky Feeder System. DESCRIPTION Refuge Bay Radio System Components

The entire unit is fitted into an IP65 rated steel enclosure. The front panel of the unit has a PTT switch, microphone position and High power audio speaker which enables miners to communicate in the high noise environments effectively. SPECIFICATIONS:
